Music MinistryThe Music Ministry at Jog Road Baptist Church offers opportunities for Christians to express their love and devotion for Christ Jesus. The main channel for this is the Adult Choir. The choir helps lead in worship each Sunday morning. In order to be considered to lead in worship, one must first be a functioning member of the body of Christ and display the following characteristics: • Non-distracting Excellence - We seek to pray, sing, play and proclaim God's Word in such a way that people's attention would be drawn toward the majesty of God (1 Corinthians 10:31). • Authenticity - Our communication should be from the heart and the mind, not only from the mouth (John 4:23). • Humility - Always remembering where we came from, we seek to keep our lives in proper perspective (Romans 12:3). |
