Serving the Church

At Jog Road, we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ is called to a life of service. There are various ways in which this takes shape. 1 Corinthians 12 teaches that different parts of the body serve uniquely to edify and build up the church. For those who feel a specific calling to works of service, the following opportunities are available:

Church Care Ministry

From time to time, different opportunities arise that require the attention of church members. These include providing or organizing meals for the sick, new mothers, and funerals as well as performing various tasks related to the maintanance of the church grounds.

Family Meal Night

Each week we gather together to break bread and have fellowship as the family of God. Meals are prepared or coordinated by members.

Welcome Team

This is an opportunity for members to greet and provide information for visitors to our church.

Those who wish to serve should:

• Be a functioning member of JRBC, involved in community.

• Be actively engaged in the study and application of God’s Word.

• Demonstrate Christ-like character in word and deed.
